Nabila Sabha is considered THE Arab live music performer of the German dance scene.
Since the beginning of her dance career in 1989, she has regulary performed to live Arab,
Turkish and Greek music locally and internationally.
Through this experience, seh has mastered the high art of improvisation by knowledge of
oriental music and dance rules.
She lives oriental dance and is not stuck in fixed coreographies. She can offer her audience
an authentic oriental dance experience not only because of her Arab roots, but also because
of her naturall talent and charisma, both of which distinguish her dancing.
Her special love is dedicated to the pur egyptian classical dance style and Baladi!
Since 1989 she has made regular trips to Egypt to deepen her study of the country´s dance
and musical styles.
Her career has spanned engagements in five-star clubs in London and Geneva, where she
danced to arabic live music on a nightly basis, and appointments as dancer and master class
teacher at international dance festivals, such as the legendary "Ahlan wa Sahlan" and "Nil Group"
She has shared her outstanding, well-grounded knowledge of the dance at festivals in UK, Russia,
Egypt, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, Poland, Finland, Tschech Republic, Sweden, Greece
and many other countries.
Since 2012 she invented and lounched RAKSlive - a worldwide unique and successful certified, yearly
live music dance education program. She created and developed this unique program over more than
a decade of study trips to Egypt.
From 2000 - 2014 she and her partner Sabina Zaida produced the international Oriental Dance Festival
"BAZAR ORIENTAL" in Berlin and the first international live music dance competition
"Miss Bellydance of Europe".
They published as well from 2005 - 2010 the international print Belly Dance Magazin "Belly Divas".
February 2016 she presents a new dance festival: RAKS BERLIN!
This Festival stands for support oriental live music as well learn & dance with live music.
The professionalism and the knowledge Nabila Sabha has gained over 25 year of studying and
performing oriental dance as well organizing events and festivals makes her an exceptional artist,
teacher and innovative festival director of her time.
